Faith & Gasoline – Better Left Unsaid Faith & Gasoline are proud to announce details for the forthcoming EP, Better Left Unsaid. Better Left Unsaid follows 2012’s successful debut effort, Highway Rolls to Dark, which saw the band touring across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia.
Whereas “Highway Rolls to Dark” showcased a band coming to terms with its identity and sound, “Better Left Unsaid” represents Faith & Gasoline at its finest hour. Buoyed by the introduction of Leon Kechayas on drums, the band confidently bares its soul on the new record. The title track looks deep into the psyche of frontman and primary songwriter, Gary Trovato and reveals his most inner thoughts and insecurities. With its shimmering guitars, pulsating drums and heartfelt lyrics “Better Left Unsaid” is destined to be the undisputed crown jewel in the Faith & Gasoline song catalogue.
Tracks like “The Story”, “Someone Else’s Song” and “It Never Ends” see the band returning to the social commentary themes and stories of everyday life that were partially explored on the debut EP. While harder edged songs “Tomorrow Fades Away” and “Silent Screams” reveal the band’s musical prowess and uncanny ability to blend melodic hooks and raw energy with a touch of class.
Iconic producer Sam Panetta (Crowded House, Hunters & Collectors) once again mans the soundboard to deliver the signature Faith & Gasoline sound.
